Karma is pretty much what it says, if someone thinks your being nice they will give you good Karma, and the number of karma points you have goes up. But if someone thinks you are being rude they will smite you...or bad karma and the number goes down. its just a nice way of seeing whos helpfull and whos not on the site. you can only give one Karma point per hour

And even though I know how very far apart we are, It helps to think we might be wishing On the same bright star
And when the night will start to sing A lonesome lullaby, It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the Same big sky.
